Keeping Track of Reality Print

In the first (current) project phase, information about the actual traffic is available to the model only by means of passage notifications by infrastructure operators. Passage notifications are used to correct the predicting model by adapting to recent situation information. When AIS or similar position notification systems become (sufficiently) widely used, their data can be fed into VSZ to increase the forecast accuracy.

The actual state and unavailability indicators of drawbridges and locks are fed into VSZ for the same reason.
